Here in the Arabic culture the oud is the most popular instrument that represents this culture.
•WHAT IS OUD ?
Oud is one of the most popular instruments in the Middle East.
The name has originally come from the Arabic word of 'wood' because oud is basically made of wood.
Oud has many names in different countries, for example, in Greece it is known as Outi and in Iran they call it Barbat.
•OUD DETAILS :
Oud's strings are made of nylon which is tied to the 11 tuning pegs at the end of the oud , and those strings produce sound by using a long plastic pick called "Reesh" .

I love the paragraphs and the wonderful information in each about this great instrument. the picture of the singers is a great idea liked it. The used language was easy to understand and that's was a great thing. However, the background kind of unclear and not that good and hard to see it. I prefer if it was just a simple background not some pictures so it will look amazing. and I would like if there were many information added to the famous people who play Oud. some music of each singer or Oud player was going to be more interesting and beautiful. Overall, great page!
